I guess we expect the cautions to be bad when we look at bug spray…but sun block?? Did you know that sun block has a caution that states “…may be carcinogenic?” Do you realize that means it is known to cause cancer?? Isn’t skin cancer the reason we use traditional sun block??? Now you can make your own!! By using YLEO products, you can give health to your body while you are protecting it!!
YLEO Sun Block
We all want to protect our children from sun BURN but we don’t want to give them cancer along the way. You now have an option. Make your own Sun Block. It only takes about 10 minutes… start to finish!! It brings health & vitality & even keeps the bugs away.
Supplies~
• 1 small sauce pan
• 1 med sauce pan
• Handheld mixer
• Empty V-6 bottle
• 5 oz. YLEO V-6
• 1/2 oz. beeswax
• 4 oz. distilled water
• 2 tbsp. of powdered zinc oxide
• 10 drops YLEO Purification EO
• 5 drops YLEO Lavender EO
• 5 drops YLEO Frankincense EO
• 1 tsp Sulfurzyme
1. Place medium sauce pan on stove with about 1 cup of water
2. Put smaller pan inside medium pan. (Make sure the water doesn’t come over the edges..only cover bottom of pan)
3. Turn heat to medium …bring water to a very LOW rolling boil
4. Combine V-6 and beeswax in the small pan and warm over medium heat.
5. Remove from heat and pour in distilled water.
6. Mix with electric handheld mixer until the ingredients are thick and smooth.
7. Add zinc oxide & Sulfurzyme …mix well
8. Drop in YLEO Essential oils
9. Mix well, store in empty V-6 bottle.
I use Young Livings purification & lavender essential oils so that my sun block works as a bug repellant as well… You can use ANY Young Living Essential Oil that does not cause photosensitivity …NO citrus!! See the Essential Oils Desk reference Guide for clarification.
